I am looking for some advice on some aspects of this movement (apart from stop playing it)
1 the glissandi octaves in the coda?

Use the Una Corda pedal - a good tip for stopping at the crotchet is playing the lower G with the left index finger. If you have small hands octave glissandi are physically impossible owing to the necessity of holding a trailing finger position (one finger turned inwards) - As a last resort you can always play it with both hands, inevitably sacrificing a few notes though.
