I don't know if this has had subliminal issues with me but I've very recently been pulling my Bach music out to start playing it again.

Very good idea, Sorrano! I listen to Bach's music quite a lot especially on the weekends and especially his Brandenburg Concertos, some of my favourites of his.

I second your frustration with those pauses and hesitations. (Are they called "retards?").

Which is quite stylistically appropiate and shouldn't be reserved just for Romantic music!
