    OT -- Puzzled by piano music

    Sorry for posting off topic, but I figured the members here could help me identify this music from the 1941 film "The Little Foxes," played by one of the characters.

    I posted an MP3 snippet of it here:

    It is the piece entitled 'Chopin' from Schumann's Carnaval Op.9.

        Thank you, gent! You know, as I was listening to it, I was thinking, "Is that Chopin?" Sure enough, it is --- sort of!

        btw, I found a complete recording of the "Carnaval" on the Web here:

        The MP3 file is just under 27 MB.

        As you can see, this page also has some Ludwig goodies, including the 3rd & 6th symphonies & the Kreutzer violin sonata.
