CD boxes of symphonies

I own that package David Zinman, Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich. I've not many comparisons to other one's like Karajan etc. Any reasons to listen the others?

There are many reasons I know, but let me please know yours. Thanks!

Just for a change i am starting to buy diffrent versions of beethovens symphonys, and i can give away my orignal ones to freinds so they can learn to enjoy bethoven.

Or to say it otherwise. From all the interpretations I’ve heard, the Zinman recordings are pretty at the top. They are brisk and sharply outlined. Also they are based on the new Baerenreiter Edition by Jonathan del Mar.

When I listen to other performances I do miss sometimes that electrifying drive.
Beethoven was a strong personality and this is the way his music has to sounds.
