What is gyrix.com?

Whenever I enter the forum I find myself in gyrix.com. That is, the system tells me the URL is gyrix dot com/forums. However, when in the BRS the URL is http://www dot lvbeethoven dot co dot uk.

It's the name of a company I started with a friend when I was at college (university). We had this domain name and our own web server, and so I started hosting the forum on it. The company is long since dissolved, but I still have the domain name.

Thanks. And why doesn't lvbeethoven.co.uk host it? Another thing: when you started hosting the forum the BRS was already created. And when it was created didn't it have a forum?

Because at the time setting up and maintaining a forum was not as easy as it is today. And it's pretty inconvenient to move a forum to another domain - links tend to get broken and things like that. And there was simply no reason to do so. It didn't have a forum at the time, no.

And who created the BRS? I mean the "mother" site, not the forum.
