    Linguistic doubt.

    I know some of you know some Spanish (notice I don´t say exactly how much). So what if you want to say "El se expreso en estos terminos"? I mean how would you put it in English? Perhaps He put it in these terms?

      "He expressed it in these terms" would be correct. Or you could say, "He spoke in these terms", as well.

        And what about "He produced ..." or perhaps "He produced himself..."? I've seen this verb being used in relation to words spoken by sombody.

          No, you'd say 'he presented himself' but even this is rather stiff and formal language.

            In everyday conversation you would not use those terms, but you might in literature, depending on how the you, as author, would want to convey how the person spoke.
