In fact, I don't remember sharing a birthday with Chopin while growing up. This page:

states that Chopin's birthday could be either February 22 (as it is recorded in the parish baptismal register) or March 1, and that March 1 is now usually regarded as the correct date. But I wonder when scholars began favoring that date?
Of course, I prefer March 1, so that I can share my birthday with him, but if that turns out to be wrong, I can at least take solace in the fact that I share a birthday with the great musical giant of our own age, Justin Bieber
