    The perfect carol!

An alternative version of the carol - I prefer the Holst!

Enjoy the festivities and have a very Happy Christmas.

Happy festivities to you too Peter. I like both versions of In the Bleak Mid Winter. I was listening to the Holst version, and it sounded lovely with the lute in it too.
The Coventry Carol version is gorgeous too, which I have been playing the traditional version on the piano, I love all the A,B and D flats in it.
A few other easy carols I have learnt to play is, See Amid the Winter Snow , Silent Night, Christmas Bells, and Good King Wenceslas, and when I play While Shepherds watch their flocks. My tutor always relates the following witty ditty........... While Shepherds wash their socks by night while watching BBC, an angel of the lord came down and switched to ITV.
