    Amazing Tudor House I visited

It is very unique- never modernised..the family moved out of it in the early c.18th and rented it out to tenant farmers. It remained the same as it was for 4 centuries -with only a water tap inside put in in the 19th century. It had no flushing toilets ( which are only in the cafe area) or electricity until 1938!
    It has such atmosphere!

Here's some photos I took of it:

Very nice Aeolian - typical of the timber framed houses in Cheshire. There is a very nice 15th century house near me which is privately owned and regularly used for concerts.

Lucky all of us because the house and gardens are open to the public and the concerts are first rate!

Yes some Beethoven in the Autumn piano recital with Roman Rudnytsky - the venue allows for chamber music and soloists.

What a charming house! I prefer hearing chamber music in smaller venues don't you?

I hope you get yourself down there for those Beethoven recitals!

Yes Chamber music works best in small settings for which it was intended.
