The piece I am practicing on now is - Menuett in G Dur BMV 114.

Was this piece written by Bach's second wife Anna Magdalena?
I mistakenly thought it was a J.S. Bach piece.

Ah, a classic for piano students

This piece is contained in the 1725 Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach, and so many people assume it is by Bach, but the notebook is a compilation of pieces by various composers, and the composers are mostly not named in the notebook. This piece is actually by Christian Petzold.
