    In search of Spitta's book.

    Some good soul would tell me where to download famous Spitta's book, Johann Sebastian Bach from? The Project Gutenberg site has no entry for it and other sites seem to lack the book too. It's of course in the public domain and ought to be freely downloadable.

      Thank you Megan. The first site has the original German. In the second I must give a phone number and no warrant it is not the German edition. In Grove's Dictionary I find "A translation by Clara Bell and J. A. Fuller Maitland was published in three volumes by Novello & Co. in 1884-85. It was reprinted 1952. I keep looking for it.
