Seemed a bit easy - are you trying to tempt me back into our own little quiz?

Not quite so easy. You can press the 'Kronolog' button and you'll have compositions from 9th century up to 2010. Also, you can select genre= camera and year, say 1800, and go up year by year. In this way you'll have plenty of Beethoven quartets. That quiz was based on purely literary associations. But you guys could do something like Catch IT too by posting MP3 clips!

Thanks Enrique, I only looked briefly at it and the first question was simple, so I'll have a more detailed look later.

Yes nice site, I like the way they also mark the questions as easy or hard, so far I haven't failed an 'easy' but I have on some of the 'hards'.

Nice to know you find it nice. Try the 'Kronolog' button too. You may even type a specific year.

Years ago, back in the days when they used to make intelligent programmes, there was a series on the BBC called 'Face the Music' with the charming Joseph Cooper. One of the hardest rounds on this classical music quiz was the dummy keyboard where Cooper would play an excerpt from a piece and the panel had to guess the work just from the sounds of the keys moving - Robin Ray was always very good at this.

I've just come across a link with the quizzes, question 0147 was the theme music for the show!

Yes and I'm sure he appeared as a guest on the show on one occasion.

This may seem an appropriate thread to ask my question.

Does anyone know what this piece of music is?
You'll have to skip the boring add first.

Lost but not Forgotten. The author seems to be Mrmilkcarton. Here is a link: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/389895

                          Thanks both Enrique and Chris.
I thought with a bit more working on, the piece has the potential of being an epic sound for a Battle Scene.
