Years ago, back in the days when they used to make intelligent programmes, there was a series on the BBC called 'Face the Music' with the charming Joseph Cooper. One of the hardest rounds on this classical music quiz was the dummy keyboard where Cooper would play an excerpt from a piece and the panel had to guess the work just from the sounds of the keys moving - Robin Ray was always very good at this.
