Looking for some jazz music to listen to.

Yeah, but I do not know what search criteria to use with youtube. For instance, there is an instrumental formation characteristic of jazz: piano, double bass and percussion, only that the percussion section, managed by one man alone, has a technical name in jazz. What could that name possibly be?

    Drums?

Not exactly, although it can be said, I guess, Shelly Manne in drums. But is is another word. I mean, if I am in youtube, looking for music for piano, double bass and drums, how do I spell out this triple combination? Just jazz trio? I think youtube gives more importance to entries with names of performers or compositions. In jazz, the names of compositions I know are few (and the names of performers less), though I know quite a lot of themes (theme is the name usually given compositions in jazz).

Yes, that's a Jazz trio - piano, bass, and drums.

I now I see youtube makes these things easier than they look at first sight. Compositions and interpreters are organized forming a tree. You just travel the tree and, as you do it, it has more information about what you're looking for and can expand another tree node.

So, I'm seeing I need not a great knowledge of jazz to be able to listen to what I like (a relative truth, of course).
