By going to http://www.lvbeethoven.co.uk I enter a page, let's call it page A, where, choosing 'Forum', I find myself in this forum. Is it possible to go from this, that is the page at http://gyrix.com/forums, directly to page A? I remember having read a post by Peter reminding us of the existence of the "mother" website, but can't find it now.

Yes, at the bottom of every page on the forum you can see these links:
Contact Us - The Beethoven Reference Site - Admin - Mod - Archive - Top (or something like that)
Click "The Beethoven Reference Site" to go back to the homepage. -
