Trying to find an info on a Beethoven's quotation...

    Hello everyone!

I am trying to find a reliable source on the quote that goes around
“The guitar is a miniature orchestra in itself”
attributed to Beethoven, on hearing the playing of Giuliani.
The furthest I manage to go is an article (published in Wiki page about classical guitar) from 1930 where the author does not state where he got that information from.
Does anyone know where I can search for more exact source of this quotation?

‘Roses do not bloom hurriedly; for beauty, like any masterpiece, takes time to blossom.’

      thank you

      Thanky you.
I know about that one. It has been published 2002, if I am not mistaken. I didn't contact Mr. Calderon yet. I am afraid that he might refer to the same article from 1930. I am looking for something more authentic.
The quote it self sound it has been translated from German so I wander if it's published somewhere in German...
