Logging on

It's not a problem, but I find most days lately, when posting, I have to log onto the website, which I didn't have to do previously. Is it a new security thing?

You always have to be logged in to post. It should keep track of your login, so if it is not, you are either explicitly logging out, or you are clearing your Internet cookies or Internet cache or something.

Could it be AVG antivirus? It's a bit enthusiastic about tracking cookies.

Yes, it could be antivirus or antimalware software. I haven't changed anything about the forum recently. Have you changed your software or browser security settings recently?
