    An obstacle, I readily admit. Let me work out a plan.

      Only if you dream of a life of wine tasting with the possibility of owning a winery, you love to travel, and the thought of running through rows of grape vines barefoot is intriguing

            My Dear Philip,

            I drink copious amounts of Reisling as I await my dedication

            Oooo! A ghostly and possessive musical genius from beyond the grave...sounds almost like a Gaston Leroux novel...

            I'd be Ludwig's muse any day.

            Or night.

            Signed,
            ~~~~~~Tiberia Claudia~~~~~~~
            P.S.-I wonder if Ludwig'd fancy running barefoot through a vineyard somewhere????
                  Muss es sein? Es muss sein! Es muss sein!
                  To a composer from beyond the grave--
                  As I raise my crystal glass toward the imperishable skies where undoubtedly your spirit dwells, my thoughts turn to you, mein liebe Ludwig, and to our many barefoot romps through musical vineyards.
                  Du bist mein...
                  PDG-Is that really you?? Where ya been?
                  Philip--The wine today is (2001) Eiswein.
                      I am so glad to see that this thread kind of stopped. This drift of conversation was getting a little off the topic, to put it mildly. Thanks for choosing to behave yourselves, gents.
                        Gents??
                        Ahem...Gents?!?!
                        Actually, 'tis why Peter allowed us to continue while we did over here--had to spare the more stuffy of the lot our good humor! They don't have to drift down here and read if they don't want to and be of good cheer....
                        I actually think Beethoven would have appreciated the ribaldry!
                        PHILIP & PDG--
                        How's things? Received two more excellent reads on Beethoven a bit ago & counting the days 'till another Florida vacation so I can private message you more photos if you'd like... April 5th is the Pastorale performance in Grand Rapids, I can hardly wait! Sorry I've not written much, been more of a ghost than a participant of late.
                        With immense love,
                          Well, it was a Stopped Thread until you rejuvenated it, young sir!! I have now awoken from my slumbers........
                            Hey, Jen. I never received any private photos? If you sent them to Philip exclusively, that may explain why he is needing an extended lie down right now (that, and the many empty vin bottles by his bed (each one called "Tracy").
                            Good luck with the Pastorale, still my favourite Beethoven symphony.....
                                Tans, Coconuts, and Tracy
                                Hey, PDG-
                                I actually have not been back yet--I leave in about a month...
                                In the meantime, I've been closely working on my tan
                                As far as the Tracies (sp?) go, I've got it all over them like a (wine) barrel.
                                So I'll PM you the Florida stuffs if you're interested in about five weeks...
                                The Pastorale is also one of my Beethoven favorites...I like the storm movement the best, 'tis awesome...
                                Do you like Schubert's "Unfinished?"
                                Ciao......................
