Background Music and Paper clips

I'm hearing some nice background music on the discussion site today! Will this be permanent?
Also I understand the paper clips icon but what does the "tick" indicate? All it says is "you are subscribed to this" or something?

(The music seems to have gone now. Maybe it was a fluke or I was picking it up from another website?)

Right, thanks, Chris. I definitely heard an orchestra playing something like Dvorak and then the "Blue Danube" when I was on last and I thought it was another new item.
