Add a search engine to the site?

Maybe it is here already but I could not see one.
I have been listening a lot to the online Beethoven only radio station, and they play lot of WoO compositions.
I thought to ask the members about these pieces but being unable to search and find out if this has already been discussed, I have had to start a new thread. This action may have been needless repetition but who can tell?
Is there some special reason why there doesn't seem to be a search engine?

There is a search facility for the forum - along the top bar!

Ouch! Did you just hear that sound of me kicking myself?
I guess my eyes were scanning for an empty white box in which to type something, before clicking on the word "Search" or "Go".
