      Gosh that is a good old age for a cat. Was she a feline?
      I'm sure it must feel very strange not having her around now.

        The piece does certainly have something melancholy about it, very appropriate for the loss of a beloved pet.

          A few years back I lost a cat I had for nearly 20 years. It's hard to make that end of life decision, but it's also hard to watch an animal suffer needlessly. My condolences, Peter. Loved the purrlude! Thanks, Megan!
