That is particularly interesting to me as my thoughts were on the quality of the older instruments. Last week I heard a work being played on a Stradivarius instrument and wondered what the differences between that and a modern instrument. Of course, on a radio you can't always distinguish all the tones, colors, etc. as you might live. Thanks for sharing that!
