Not saying this guy is right or wrong, but there is more to it than we are being fed.
It's worthwhile remembering that the media is held in the lowest regard by ordinary people - possibly even lower than used car salespeople - because of their partisanship and blatant activism. Ergo, it's almost impossible to take seriously what most of them disseminate. You've got to go to intelligent people like Prof. Niall Ferguson to drill down; he and others like him. The media is completely untrustworthy as it has engaged in its own kind of propaganda relentlessly, particularly over the last few years, providing its own world view to increasingly-cynical readers. Specific media play directly to the crowd and, in fact, they've reinforced in certain cohorts their own victimhood. Just like the big bad wolf in "Little Red Riding Hood"....'all the better to control you with". Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

Some media seem happy to reduce complex issues to the level of cartoons.

The cabal of Lilliputians are at it again with their cancellation orders: not intelligent enough to know - or to care anyway - that any denunciation of Putin would instantly attract the tyrant's wrath and endanger their families and friends living inside Russia. And apparently there's no such thing as a 'culture war!!??

Acknowledgement of a grammatical error; 'cabal' is a collective noun and, as such, deserves a singular pronoun. In this case, "its".

The ‘real face of Russia’: the women taking a dangerous stand on St Petersburg's streets - video

A 12" reportage of brave, everyday Russian women making a stand against the war (sorry, "special operation") in Ukraine.
              Remember, Russia is not Putin!
