I heard Bob Dylan, Linda Ronstadt and Steve Winwood outside. They were great. The local Chamber orchestra played in the park and the sound was terrible. When they played on the fountain (turned off of course), the sound was excellent. What does it mean? I don't know. I've listened to a lot of B outside. It seems very natural out there. I'd like to hear the Spring Sonata, op. 24.

Well the Water and Fireworks music were written to be played outside. The latter especially required colossal forces of wind instruments and in the occasion of the fireworks display even these were not sufficient for all to hear due to the high winds that were blowing.
