Hi friends,
Last night I was randomly browsing Amazon just looking for some more wonderful classical music and I found a gem.
I have the Bach Partitas #4, 2, and 6 on a Nonesuch CD with Richard Goode on piano. Oh my god it is so awesome!!! It's one of those that I play over and over again.
I just realized that Mr. Goode has put out #1, 3, and 6 on CD - I noticed on Amazon that it has a release date of 4-1-2003! I am going to order this right away because #1) the Bach Partitas are so beautiful and #2) Richard Goode plays them so lovely. I highly recommend this new Cd to others!!!! I haven't even heard yet but I know that it has got to be good!!
I'm going to make this post in the bach forum too but since this place gets so much traffic i came here first.
On a different topic (slightly) - I am interested in hearing more Bach's choral or cantata type stuff - can anyone recommend to me any particular CDs in this vein?
Thanks very much,
Melody
