Per me non c'è stato rivalità fra MOZART e BEETHOVEN : MOZART e morto quando BEETHOVEN era encora a BONN... e BEETHOVEN è riuscito a farsi un nome a VIENNA con le sue proprie capacità di Pianista e di Componista... ha sempre ammirato MOZART comunque. Non dimenticare che è stato BEETHOVEN a suonare concerti di MOZART e a scrivere delle cadenze per questi...

Sorry I can't respond in Italian; I only know what I've picked up from operas.

I love both Amadeus and Ludwig, but for different reasons. Mozart's music has consistent beauty; Beethoven's has great power. But they each have mastery, a sense of inevitability, and the slight wildness necessary for greatness.
