    My song for Beethoven

    You fill up my senses

Like a night in the forest

    Like a mountain in Springtime

Like a walk in the rain.

Like a storm in the Desert

    Like a sleepy blue ocean

    You fill up my senses

    Come fill me again....

These beautiful lyrics were written by the late John Denver, and sum everything I feel
    when I listen to Beethoven.
He fills up my senses with all the different moods in this song: Darkness, brightness, new life, majestic power of the mountains. melancholy, stormy and calm.
    Beethoven completely overwhelms me

There is this multi-faceted nature in Beethoven's music that is quite unique I think. His ingrained inventiveness allowed the whole spectrum of sound and emotion to be explored, which goes to explain why each composition had a level of originality to an extent greater than that of any other composer.
