This is a Beethoven piece. It is an arietta for voice & piano. Op. 82/3.

It is in the works list and dated around 1795, possibly revised in 1809. Can't help any more than that I'm afraid!

This piece is unusual in that there are two completely different settings of the one poem by Pietro Metastasio. Opus 82 No. 3 is set as an "arietta buffa" and Opus 82 No. 4 is an "arietta assai seriosa".
The title of both songs is "L'amante impaziente" (The Impatient Lover). "Che fa il mio bene" is actually the first line. Here is an English translation of the whole thing:

What is my beloved doing?
Why comes she not?
She must want to see me
tormented thus!

O how slow is
the sun on its course!
Every moment
seems a day to me.

Thanks for the interpretation. Beautiful words. For a little more information, from my readings, this was published in 1811.
