I am writing an essay for my music class on Beethoven's fifth symphony and I am quite stuck on one of the topics which i need to cover. It is as follows:

-discuss significant characteristics of the work including compositional devices.

If anyone could help me out by posting suggestions on the topic or just some general help/information, that would be really great.

Thanks, I'm currently looking at the page now. Has some helpful information. If anyone else has any suggestions/comments/info on the topic please feel free to post these, as the more help i can get the better.
