    Felix Steiner

Hello, does anyone know where I can find the 7 Piano Preludes of Felix Steiner? I know this is a Beethoven forum but I need some help, I looked everywhere. Maybe I'm spelling the name wrong. Felix Steiner is a composer who lived around the same time as Beethoven, most of his pieces are still considered "unplayable", only he could perform them, he wrote 7 Preludes for piano, 20 Piano Sonatas, 3 piano Concertos and I think one Symphony. Does anyone know where I can get his music? (midi format would be good)

Have you tried the classical music archives? they have lots of midi, if they don´t have this composer, try asking to the webmaster.

There was a Max Steiner born in the 1880's who was a composer but no Felix.

I have never heard of him either. It looks like you may indeed have the name wrong.
