    This point was beyond the context of the initial discussion, as only the 'second favourite' was the issue. It seems I am unique in rating Handel so highly (other than B himself), that is above Mozart ond Bach. My Handel collection far outstrips my Beethoven by number of CDs (because he wrote more of course) so I know what I am talking about when it comes to H - his music is totally addictive when u hear it played by good baroque specialists - Messiah is just a small part of it and not even the best I would say. I know you are a big Mozart fan Peter, but in all honesty Mozart's music is rarely so inticing by comparison to my ears. If you heard my collection you would be forced to agree, I have no doubt.
