    A notebook of Anton Reicha's (Beethoven's associate in Bonn and lifelong friend) has been found in a Paris waste bin - what some people will throw out! Lucky it was found, but can you imagine what has been lost in the past?

    In today's world it seems when a parent or relative dies that people tend to be in such a big hurry to get rid of stuff so they can sell the house that even what might be personal treasures are lost forever because of such carelessness and even greed.

      And to be fair, ignorance - Reicha is not really a household name! Still if I came across something of that age I think I might just have a bit more curiosity rather than just trashing it.
