    Defend Beethoven from modernist assault

I am the vice president of The Schiller Institute in Denmark, and write about classical music and culture.

Because you love Beethoven, I cordially request that you read the following article by Helga Zepp-LaRouche, the founder and international president of The Schiller Institute, protesting against the Darmstadt production of Fidelio, where Beethoven's finale is chopped up and modern music by composer Annette Schlünz is inserted in-between.

With this article, she would like to initiate a movement to defend Beethoven and classical music from such assaults.

I hope that you can circulate this article. Please let me know if you have any comments or want to be in touch with this effort.

Here is the link to her article in Executive Intelligence Review:

I downloaded and read the article.
Reading the words "The bounds of decency have been breached" I knew I was in for a reactionary rant.
Big thumbs down from me for your post.
I know Annette Schlünz personally and she is not at all the demon you seek to portray.
