Recently Sorrano (how do you do?, Sorrano) was listening to one of them, namely no.52. All of them contain some element that anticipates romanticism. A question: how is it that all of the 104 symphonies by Haydn are extant (preserved for us)? Not one of them is missing?

This is because he was employed by the Esterhazy family and his manuscripts were preserved in their libraries.

There is probably more truth to that than we realize.

Nice list, Enrique, thanks! (And I'm doing well, thank you!) How are the London symphonies categorized as far as sturm und drang?

Sorrano: The sturm und drang symphonies were composed during the late 1760s and early 1770s while the London symphonies between 1791 and 1795. That makes the intersection empty.
