The amazing 1st symphony by Hans Rott who died tragically young aged 25 in 1884. This work influenced Mahler who was yet to write his 1st symphony. The 3rd movt (22'08) is a particularly remarkable scherzo and we have to remember the composer was only 20.

One of the most beautiful discoveries recently has been this fine recording of all of Handels piano music (originally cembalo). I never had thought that Handel could also write such awesome piano works, not just Bach:
