I used to play WoO 85 all the time, along with the slightly more substantial WoO 84. They are nice little pieces, and interesting early examples of the waltz. I should bring those out again.

Dear Friends,

these little pieces are of little value. More intrusive is to contextualize them.
In the books it is written where they come from but no one reports the complete series.
One example is the Diabelli variations. only recently have the other variations been printed and played.
Our project is to solve questions such as "The Beethoven's Anhang 8 come from the ballet" La ritrovata figlia di OttoneII by Leopold Kozeluch ", how will the music of this ballet be?
