Hello, Colleagues, I am seeking reviewers to be quoted on the back cover of my novel about Beethoven which will be published by an independent publisher in the U.S. this fall. The novel, The Black Spaniard, follows the composer from his second journey to Vienna through the realization that he is losing his hearing and ends with an epiphany after he removes the name of Bonaparte from the Third Symphony. The work is highly fictionalized, but within a scholarly context. I spent several years researching it, including visits to Bonn and Vienna.
If you are an author or academic at all interested in taking a look at the text, with (my) hope that you may find something positive to say, please let me know, as well as how I may contact you. I very much appreciate it, and think this book will be a positive addition to Beethoven literature as well as a way to acknowledge other Beethoven scholars and enthusiasts who have offered their support. Thank you all; your additional thoughts are most welcome. Lindegard
