This is a re-release of an old recording (1969) and the flutes are a touch out of focus I think, but the playing is good. A touch more 'con brio' perhaps. The best thing on this disk is a really excellent (con brio!) version of op11.

Ah yes, I have been looking forward to this one, as I said. I love duets between woodwinds. They are always delightful, particularly when flutes and/or oboes are involved.
