I am surprised that Handel is so low down the list along with Bach.

Always highly suspicious of these things and this is an American survey. I doubt Gershwin or Copland would make it into the top 20 in Europe. Notice also who's missing - Schubert, Bruckner, Liszt, Wagner, Debussy - it makes little sense.

No disrespect to Bach but it does not surprise me- this is more geared to symphonies and symphonic music which is not his type of music.
