Very enjoyable again Gerd - my own favourite recording of the 48 is Edwin Fischer. Also, I wonder which edition you are working from, I have several but am particularly fond of the Orlando Morgan.

Together with the Fugues in E- and Ab- my favourite fugue in Major keys in Bach's Welltempered Clavier II is the one in B-Major (BWV 982). So I also tried to orchestrate this.
It is based on a solemn theme of half notes and develops to a wonderful majestic ending:
