I know it is a symphony by Haydn. Pretty sure it is from the 1st or the 4th movement and I have a blotted memory it is around symphony no. 50. I heard the sturm und drang symphonies and I believe it is not one of them. Could some kind person tell what symphony it is from. Also, the coda is very brief.

Well it's not easy from the notation, but possibly you're thinking of the G minor symphony no.39? Try going through the minor key symphonies from around that date, sorry not to be more specific.
