Perhaps some of you have visited the "Mad About Beethoven" web page. The site's creator has a biography (divided into 3 books).
What interested me was that Suchet claims the books make fairly accurate guesses as to what was actually going on in Beethoven's life when he wrote a specific piece. This, undoubtedly would help one to better appreciate these works. Has anyone here read this, and if so, what was your opinion of it? Thanks.
