    No Wonder I'm Stupid!

(It's been a bad week for Beethoven. Even his hair is inferior to Mozart's.)

What a load of baloney. They only chose one Beethoven composition- Fur Elise- they should have tried his late string quartets or the Ninth!
As for his hair, well Beethoven had glorious hair!

Yeah, I also think this was a poorly constructed test. Of course K448 is going to register more brain activity than Fur Elise. Just like I'm sure Große Fuge is going to to have more brain activity than the first movement of K545.

Doesn't it make you wonder about the intelligence of these 'researchers' and make you worry about trusting any scientific survey now that a full fat diet is supposedly good for you? I also recall in the 70's how the main thinking was we were entering an Ice age.

Fur Elise was probably chosen as it was the only Beethoven piece they knew!

I have listened to the adagio of the Ninth countless numbers of times throughout my life - and I still have blood pressure.
Anyway, if the preceding two movements do NOT raise your blood pressure you have another problem.

By the way, more breaking news here:
