Marin Alsop is the top female conductor? For heaven's sake...

If Alsop isn't, who would be? In fact, she's the only name on that list I have heard of. I have never seen Alsop, though, so I don't mean it to be negative to you Chris. Problem is that there are (still) so few women involved in classical music. Interesting to see in the younger generation of soloists how women are becoming more prominent.
