    Beethoven's "Heart Condition"

Another half-baked theory about Beethoven's health,

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/sc...r-9956048.html

Personally, I think he was suffering from an ingrown toe-nail when he wrote the Opus 95 String Quartet!

Oh Michael you always bring a smile to my face! I dread to think what he was suffering from when he wrote the Grosse fugue!

What a load of old cobblers!

They looked at the rhythmic patterns of several compositions, and found that sudden, unexpected changes in tempo and key in Beethoven’s music appear to match such asymmetrical patterns.
No, he was just a genius composer with originality!

I agree with you 100% AH. What a load of rubbish. Why is it that Beethoven's genius is always analysised? Why can't these so called experts accept Beethoven for what he really was. A GENIUS! !!!!

Well I suppose they want an explanation for Beethoven's genius; he is so extraordinary that it is hard to believe this mysterious man from Bonn could do what he did with so many illnesses and adversities. He is truly an inspiration!

Got distracted when I saw "half-baked" and started thinking about food.

Funny you should mention food because here is another mention of the subject, and it even drags in Wagner's bowels for good measure:

Good article, I enjoyed that! Especially with regards to Wagner and Brahms.

I am no expert, but I have to analyze each of his works. I need to glean from his genius a way to shape my own artistic endeavours. The conclusion I come to is, with no doubt, that he is an unexplainable genius
