Trevor Stephenson - Music in the Wright Place

Trevor Stephenson - Music in the Wright Place.

Brilliant, informative and entertaining! Trevor presents Mozart's Fantasy in D minor.

He says that in the c.18th they were very interested in how the dark and light met each other, balanced. Mozart's Fantasy is a great example of this.

Finally got a chance to watch this. Found it very interesting. I have to say though the knee pedal looks very awkward to use...I have enough trouble using the foot pedal...lol

I suppose one gets used to it- and that is all Mozart knew, and for a time, Beethoven as well.

I'd love to "play" one of these fortepianos and try out all the features!
