    Haydn symphony- wrongly marked on you tube

    Anyone know what this is? It is not in D minor- I checked on wikipedia- doesn't match the movements!

    It certainly starts in D minor (thereabouts) and ends in the major.

      If it's not the Haydn this recording (with a modern orchestra including timpani) has made the same mistake. As to the key, as stated before my ears don't allow me to judge that, other than I can hear the obvious lower pitch from the period ensemble.

            No wonder I could not find it- I hadn't heard of MICHAEL Haydn! I didn't know Joseph had a brother who also composed. I mean, one would assume it was JOSEPH Haydn! I thought the M was Mister!

            Anyway, a very good symphony!
