    Baptism Entry

For the entry of Beethoven's Baptism, it does not say a date or his name. Does anybody know why and how I can find, maybe, another website with his Baptism entry?

    Thanks

I don't think you won't find it on any other website.

All the details are there - at the top is the date in abbreviated form 17th Dec 1770, under that is the name Ludwig. The names on the left are those of Beethoven's parents. On the right are the names of the godparents - Ludwig Van Beethoven (his grandfather) and Gertrud Muller known as Baum, the next door neighbour in whose house the library of the Beethoven-archiv now is.

Beethoven's name is entered as "Ludivico," which is the Latin form of his name. The document is dated December 17 and gives the names of his parents and godparents.
