Schubert's opera Fierrabras at the Salzburg festival 2014

Today in TV I saw the wonderful performance of Schubert's opera Fierrabras at the Salzburg festival 2014! It is said that Schubert was too lyrical and to less dramatic for operas, but listen to this:

For me this is after Fidelio the best German opera I know ...

Yes it's a wonderful work with some great music, though I have it only on cd - I'm sure it's rarely performed so good to hear it was at Salzburg.
