There is a famous composer in this image of the Last Supper by Fritz Von Uhde - can you spot him?

Are you sure Peter? I cannot see whom, and there is no reference to a composer when I looked online about the painting!
    Ludwig van Beethoven

    Doch nicht vergessen sollten

The third man on Jesus' right looks a bit like Verdi. Well, he does to me anyway...lol.

Anton Bruckner? The guy at the end of the table in the striped robe looks like him.

I don't know of Anton Bruckner so I looked him up on the internet. I do see a resemblance.

Yes it is Bruckner - Fritz Von Uhde did him the honour of using him as a model for one of the Apostles who I think is Simon.

Then you simply must get to know of him! Here's the glorious Adagio from his 8th symphony for starters, one of the most sublime in all music.

Yeah! So, what do I win for guessing correctly?

                  Wonder which one is Judas?

Yes that was very well spotted - by rights you should be awarded his Pince-Nez which now lies with the remains of Beethoven!

Well done as well Sorrano - Bruckner though honoured, felt unworthy to be used as a model for an Apostle!

He should have used the critic Hanslick!
